I think I have gone completely nuts… and I just proved that by cooking lunch at 5 in the morning! Was tossing and turning in the bed for 4 hours…. (pubbing+headbanging+6 smokes+3 hours of hindi cinema= migrane!!!) so, I could not sleep and I woke up and thought what to do, coz reading or sitting on the comp or listening to music…only worsens my headaches..! So, I thought of doing some cooking..and while I was at it…I thought “why not experiment with some ‘Microwave cooking’?” (have been using the poor bugger as a reheating machine!) And I tried my culinary skills on all possible vegetables I could find in and outside the fridge! And the result LOOKS quite disastrous…am in no mood to taste it at 7 in the morning. And, strangely enough my headache is gone..! (???!!) I have started ‘Cooking’ to cure headaches??? How sad is that!
However, sat at the comp again to do some charity work for my brother in law! ( I don’t know why I said ‘yes’ to this damn unnecessary slog..! Jij….YOU OWE ME BIG TIME NOW!!)
(Something is really wrong with me coz I made tea, which is not tasting anything like tea or any 'tea like' concoction!) Damn!
No blogging for the past 2 weeks….coz I haven’t been doing much except shaking my head every few hours…(so much that my neck’s hurting..and I think I will have a spondilitis condition soon!)
yesterday…(which is still like today for me coz I haven’t slept) went to a pub called Purple Haze. Had the very usual pub like dingy interiors but music was awesome…after TC, this is the first time I liked the music in a pub..and the marks it lost because of dingy interiors were immediately regained…coz it had huge screens showing the videos of the numbers being played…. So, good job, pub owner…! Keep it up!
The crowd was also good, music enthusiasts with no fuss about clothes and accessories and all the crazy show off like TC. But, then that can also be dubbed as a lil boring, coz when u are not so interested in the ppl accompanying u, u can at least look at other people and make fun of them in your blogs! Huh, anyway….. guzzled beer like a bloody maniac… and felt dizzy with dehydration soon after..! Then, scooted for RDB… and I was so looking forward to watching the movie, but dint enjoy much… I thought it would be fun…but I ended up crying more than a couple of times..and I hate that because its embarrassing and you look very foolish when the lights suddenly come up in the intermission and u are caught with running ‘kajal’ and a solemn look on your face…(some people even give u the ‘c’mon its only a movie’ look!) It’s a well made movie with a not so ‘in your face’ kinda ‘moral of the story’… its left to the audience to make sense of it! However, I wasn’t as much touched by the ‘dying of a flt. Lt….or his mom going into coma, or all the gory killings thereafter…But by the whole depiction of university fun and the scenes of my ‘praanth’;) ! reminded me of my 'bygone' days and the fun we had and the whole culture thing..which we have left faaaaaaar behind…! Especially, after coming to this ‘thambi land’..which like the U S of A has no culture of its own except that it will be called 'Bengaluru' now and i am sure it might jst be mistaken for 'Bengal'by the rest of the world. Also, i asked someone to teach me some kannada to teach a lesson to the freaking auto fellas and he said.. if anyone troubles u, just say 'Simply Adjust Maadi'... so much for kannada...!i rolled my eyes till they were about to fall out of my head... ..!! Morons!!
At work, things have been the same ol boring and have become irritating also because a new fat lady has joined the team…! She is short and fat and has green eyes (which make her look more cunning than she is!) So, this fat cat reminds me of CC… not because of the way she looks but because of the way she talks…she frequently uses phrases like ‘conspicuous by his absence’ and ‘for one fleeting moment’….(???!!!) I don’t know who the fuck are such people are trying to impress….?? Helloooo…The Britishers are long gone ... u morons!
Hmph….. another fucking week ahead and the Monday starts without sleep…!! God help ppl around me… I get very cranky without sleep!
Completely forgot abt the ‘concoction’ and its cold now…DAMN..DAMN DAMN!!
