Since the past so many days I have been cribbing incessantly about my hair cut, which is not only badly done but is very boyishly short! And also cut in a manner that it will take ages to grow 'em long!
(I got to know this when more than halfway through the haircut, I was squinting at the lady cutting my hair through the mirror, coz she was putting the scissors thru my hair like a blind person would cut grass on a hot summer day..!! So very nonchalantly, she told me 'You don’t want to grow your hair ever no?' And I almost fell off the chair..! She said she was 'reducing the volume of the hair'…what the fuck?? Where the fuck did she see volume in my hair????????? Crazy woman!!)
So, that is not the point…( God, I am so digress-ive). The point is that in spite of applying oil and stuff like never before to make my hair grow faster, they are becoming weirder and master of their own will..! They refuse to obey the comb..nasty bastards! And now I am also beginning to grow something close to what they call 'sideburns'!!
So, a couple of days ago, I was in the cafeteria, dressed in my usual jeans-sweatshirt kind of attire…was walking towards the table with my head bent down, concentrating on the floor (I do that a lot these days, I don’t like to look at people!), suddenly a man (seemingly to be in a big hurry) bumps into me frim behind, I turn around quickly and he touches my (…err..ahem....) 'chest' and says “Sorry yaar” and vanishes!...It took me some time to realize that he mistook me for a guy!!
Wanted to vanish into thin air..!
So I decided to buy as many 'womanly' things as possible..accessories et al...so went ahead and bought (for the first time in ages) oxidized metal earrings (that hang from the ears instead of sitting on the ear lobe doing nothing), toe-rings, even an anklet..!! Have crossed all limits of being vain and have also resorted to make up (read kajal and lipstick)!!
I don’t know what next.... cleavage??
(Naaah…I have to remember…’womanly’ not whore’ly)
